Disney offers a FastPass system to any guest who has a park ticket.  And, on the horizon, isDisney’s new FastPass+ system, where you can reserve several attractions before you even leave home!  But, using these for the optimal touring time can be challenging and confusing-especially if you are a first time visitor.  However, they can also add more magic to your vacationand less waiting time in line.  Less wait means more magic, right?  So, I want to share with you some FAQs regarding FastPasses.
What is a Fastpass and how do I get one?
A Fastpass is a small ticket that allows you to return to a Disney attraction at a specific time and board with little to no wait.  If you have a Disney park ticket, you have access to Fastpasses.  You can find the locations for Fastpass distribution locations on the park maps.  At the Fastpass distribution machine, insert park tickets for EACH member of your party who wants to enjoy the attraction.  Everyone in your group who wants to board with a FastPass must have one.www.chipandco.com
Does every attraction have the Fastpass option?
No. Only certain attractions have this as an option for park visitors.  Typically these are attractions that are very popular and experience long waits.  For example, Test TrackSoarin’Expedition EverestSplash MountainSpace Mountain, and Toy Story Midway Mania are among the many attractions that support FastPass.
I approached the Fastpass machine, and it’s covered.  Why?
That means the attraction has given all its Fastpasses for the day, or they are not distributing FastPasses at that time.
My FastPass return time is 1:00 pm-2:00 pm.  When can I board the ride?
You can board the ride anytime between 1 and 2 pm.  If you return after 2 pm, you may be denied access to the ride via the FastPass entrance.  Watch your times, and make sure your FastPass return time works with the rest of your touring plans for that day.
Can I get multiple FastPasses during the day?
Yes.  When the FastPass distribution machine gives you your FastPass, it will have two times on there.  One is your return time.  The other is when you are allowed to collect a FastPass for another attraction.
With Disney rolling out the new FastPass+ system, you’ll be able to reserve spots in line for attractions before you even leave home.  You can also choose from character greetings, Wishes, Illuminations, and more!  You don’t have to use FastPass+, but it’s another great way to utilize your My Magic Bands, and could be very helpful with planning your days in the parks.

Special thanks to www.chipandco.com for that awesome info!!

$15.75 per night for any child (age 3 - 9)

Standard Dining Plan
$58.66  per night for any adult (age 10 and up)

Post Surgery Blues

I had surgery to repair my torn rotator cuff three weeks ago today.  I had my right shoulder operated on and yes, I am right handed!  I am limited in the things I can do, so I decided to start this blog.  I can peck on the computer with my left hand.  I can not drive, so I am at the mercy of my daughters to take me places.  Lord you don't realized how you take for granted just being able to pick up and go whenever you please!

While I am home I have decided to start and plan our next Disneyworld vacation.  I am a Disney Vacation Club member and love to visit the happiest place on earth! www.disneyvacationclub.com  Luckily, I have a best friend who is just as crazy about Disney as I am!
